Join us for an in-person Connect To Learn about the Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund (AICLF). This ISANS-led initiative can help immigrants with permanent resident status or Canadian citizenship obtain training and certification in their chosen fields or related fields in their new home provinces.

During this event, you will learn:
•    Who is eligible for the AICLF
•    What costs the AICLF can cover
•    The kinds of programs the AICLF can help pay for
•    How the AICLF is funded and how it is administered across Atlantic Canada
•    Why the AICLF is a better choice for immigrants in Atlantic Canada than funding through a private institution on their own

After the presentation, you can also ask any questions you might have about AICLF.

Facilitator: Ken Partridge, Coordinator of Marketing and Outreach, AICLF

Ken Partridge started his career as a journalist and editor more than 35 years ago. One of his proudest accomplishments during that time was participating in the creation of My Halifax Experience Magazine, a publication dedicated to telling the stories of immigrants choosing to build new lives and careers in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His editorial leadership of this magazine led to his joining My East Coast Experience, publishers of the magazine, and organizers of the annual Most Inspiring Immigrants in Atlantic Canada event. This experience contributed directly to him starting his current role as coordinator of marketing and outreach for the Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund. The AICLF is an Atlantic Canada-wide program administered by the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia and designed to assist foreign-trained or educated immigrants in obtaining recognition for their credentials so they can continue their career of choice in their new home province.
