Whether you're a newcomer looking for work or an employer hoping to attract top talent, this engaging session will walk you through everything you need to know about WorkPEI—Prince Edward Island’s official job board and employment resource hub.

Join us for an informative morning where you’ll learn how to navigate the WorkPEI platform, leverage its features, and access valuable labour market information tailored to your needs.

During this presentation, you will learn:

•  How to navigate the WorkPEI website, including an overview of the home page menus, search options, and where to find essential employment resources
•  The step-by-step process to register for a WorkPEI account:
  – For Employers, including the validation process
  – For Job Seekers, including creating and managing a user profile
•  How to make the most of dashboard features:
  – For Job Seekers: managing job alerts, bookmarks, saved searches, profiles, and applications
  – For Employers: posting jobs, reviewing applications, updating company profiles, and using the “Find Talent” tool
•  A breakdown of how to apply for jobs through WorkPEI and the different ways job seekers can submit applications
•  What a full job listing looks like from the employer's side, and how to craft listings that attract the right candidates
•  An introduction to PEI’s Labour Market Information section, including how to understand and use:
  – NOC (National Occupation Classification) codes
  – NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) codes
  – The PEI Economic Dashboard
  – Detailed Occupational Profiles for in-demand roles across the province
•  How to explore featured PEI employers and discover mini websites hosted by WorkPEI
•  An overview of WorkPEI’s social media platforms and how they can support your employment or recruitment goals

You'll also have an opportunity to ask questions and get direct support to ensure you're getting the most from the platform, whether you're looking to hire or get hired.
