Farmer Flory is the heart and soul behind Island Hill Farm, a place where compassion, education, and community come together in the most genuine way. What began as a simple love for animals has grown into one of Prince Edward Island’s most cherished interactive farm experiences, welcoming visitors from near and far to connect with animals in a meaningful and memorable way.
With a natural gift for storytelling and a deep understanding of animal care, Farmer Flory has created a space where every animal has a story—and every visitor leaves with one too. From gentle Highland cows to curious goats and fluffy Angora rabbits, each resident of the farm is treated with kindness, respect, and individual attention. Her approach is rooted in empathy, education, and the belief that animals have the power to teach us patience, responsibility, and joy.
Farmer Flory’s journey hasn’t just been about building a farm—it’s been about building a community. Through hands-on tours, educational programs, and heartfelt interactions, she has inspired countless visitors to appreciate agriculture, animal welfare, and the simple beauty of farm life. Her passion is contagious, her dedication unwavering, and her impact deeply felt by everyone who walks through the gates of Island Hill Farm.
At its core, Farmer Flory’s mission is simple: to create a place where people and animals connect, learn, and grow—together.
