Facilitator: Evan Willemsen Director of Operations
Evan Willemsen has served as AKA Energy Systems’ Director of Operations since 2024, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience across the maritime and energy sectors. With deep expertise in operational management, business development, and strategic planning, Evan has played a key role in expanding AKA’s global presence and advancing its leadership in hybrid and renewable energy solutions. His recent focus has centered on the integration of alternative fuels, particularly hydrogen technologies. Prior to joining AKA, Evan held senior leadership roles in international maritime operations, including Managing Director at Rotortug and General Manager at Kotug International.
Please be aware that clients will need to arrange their own transportation for the visit.
AKA Systems is approximately 35 minutes from Charlottetown. Attendees will receive one $15 gas card per household at the site.
As we will be touring a manufacturing facilty we will be required to put "foot booties" on over our shoes so please no open toed shoes or heels. If you have steel toed shoes please wear them.
If you register for the session and can no longer attend, please inform your Program Officer at least 24 hours prior to the event.
