ABOUT THE EVENT

This information session will be helpful for those looking to have a website that is both visually appealing and functional for their business, or for those who want to touch up on their web design skills. By the end of the session, you will have a better understanding of how to design for the modern web and some key principles to keep in mind when working on your own web projects.

This informative session will cover the following topics:

♦ Managing load times of your website,

♦ Measuring metrics for optimal website performance,

♦ Building trust with your website visitors, and more.

In addition, the presenter, Spencer Gallant will review some best practices and take some real-world examples from web pages that are currently in use. For a professional review of your current website, please provide us with your website link on the registration form under “Comments”.

Presenter - Spencer Gallant

Spencer Gallant is the President of World Wide Websites, where he is passionate about helping businesses adopt technology to streamline processes and deliver results, through custom website development and other technology platforms. He specializes in working with small businesses, drawing on his prior experience leading a start-up as well as working in a variety of fields, including principal partner at a home service business, sales, management, and more. With his diplomas in both Business Administration and Project Management, he excels in creating value for small businesses all over the country. In his free time, Spencer enjoys hiking, going to the gym, and playing squash and disc golf.

Note: This session is open exclusively to PEI Connectors clients. There is no charge to participate, but advance registration is required. There is seat limitation due to venue size, please register ASAP. If you are not able to register for this session due to full registration, please contact your Program Officer and they can put you on the waiting list. 

In addition, please note that there is no refreshment provided due to the venue, but we will have a 20-30minutes break so you are welcome to step out and get something during that time.
