Lannia, is a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) with twenty years of extensive management experience in international trade based in China, the United States and Canada that involves countries in Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America.

Lannia’s international trade experience includes feasibility in international trade, global sourcing and outsourcing, foreign direct investment, franchising, international market research, risk analysis and mitigation, contracts and agreements, IP protection, intercultural relationships, international market entry strategy, business planning, export product and service development, cost & pricing, production, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, logistics, import and export, supplier and distributor management, branding, marketing and sales. Lannia also led over 20 international purchasing and export trade missions and organized many business networking and promotional events in China, the United States, and Canada.
Lannia’s current role is a Trade Development Officer with Global Trade Services division of Innovation PEI, leading economic development agency of the provincial government of Prince Edward Island, Canada. She provides services to assist new and existing exporters from PEI with export readiness, capacity building, global market development and market access, which include:


• Build export capacity through training sessions, administrate government funding programs, provide global trade related advisory services to support export goal;
• Strategically plan, execute and manage global export market development initiatives including trade shows and trade missions;
• Promote market diversification, plan and organize marketing and promotional activities for Seafood and Agri-Food products from PEI and the other Atlantic Canadian provinces;
• Representing the province of PEI, participate in Atlantic Canadian provinces multi-sector export planning & project execution committees and Seafood From Canada brand management committee;
• Representing the province of PEI, participate in Canadian provinces agri-food and seafood export planning committees covering all Asian countries and Canada Brand Working Group;
• Leverage support of provincial and federal trade partners, coordinate with Global Affairs Canada and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s teams on export market development and market access issues for PEI exporters.
